Leon Z. Lee is the Managing and Founding Partner of Sinotimes. He was a core member of the Grandall Legal Group before founding Sinotimes. Mr. Lee specializes in Venture Capital, Merger & Acquisition and IPO with over twelve years of practicing experience. He has successfully recovered a large loan for an overseas bank syndication and presided over the projects for recapitalization and reorganization of several subsidiaries of a major Chinese Energy Company. He also successfully represented his client in a substantial shareholder-derivative suit against a listed company. Mr. Lee is perennial counselor-at-law of several Top 100 Domestic Enterprises in China and frequently acts as the special counsel for administrative agencies.

He also represented a client in a suit against an Urban Planning Bureau and received a verdict in favor of his client. Before joining Sinotimes, Roach worked in an administrative agency for years and gained excellent communication skills. He also has laid a deep foundation for theory. Currently, he is the perennial counselor-at-law for quite a few major state-owned enterprises.

Jianping Ding is senior lawyer at Sinotimes, specializing in Venture Capital, Assets Restructuring, M&A, Bankruptcy & Liquidation and Intellectual Property. He participated in projects on recapitalization and reorganization of several subsidiaries of a major Chinese Energy Company. Substantial assets were involved in these projects. Before joining Sinotimes, Mr. Ding has worked for a major state-owned company and gained abundant experience in corporate governance and capital operation. He also gained an insight into enterprises’ financial condition and development as a qualified CPA. Mr. Ding is also perennial legal counsel of several major State-owned enterprises.

Emmett Dong

Mr. Dong specializes in Foreign Investment, Corporation Legal Matters, M&A, IPO, Real Estate and Labor Law. He is fluent in English, especially in English contract terminology. Also, he holds the Securities Industry Practitioner Qualification and the High School English Teacher Certificate. Prior to joining Sinotimes, he worked as a judge assistant in Pu Dong New area People’s Court. Moreover, Mr. Dong worked for more than 12 companies in the fields of drafting and negotiating individual and collective employment contracts, training agreements, drafting company rules and regulations as well as litigation and arbitration in labor disputes.


Joe Hsu

Mr. Hsu specializes in Environmental resources, Real Estate, Corporation Legal Matters and Civil Litigation. He has a solid educational background and has published several essays in respect of Environmental resources. He worked as legal counsel in a real estate consulting company and accumulated extensive experience in real estate sale & purchase.
